Relax in plush Victorian sofas by the fireplace and indulge in the famous high tea. Just don’t spill anything on their lovely carpet... A nice way to spend an afternoon with mum or friends. Nibble on cakes and scones from a pretty, tiered platter in true Devonshire tea style. Add champers for extra fizz. Spent few days there with huby for our 9th Anniversary.
The staff are great, friendly and cheerful always smiling.
Had few spa massages and facial treatment that were heaven.
The hight tea was good not as decorated as should be and pianist was also good but we were seated right next to her so we weren't able to have a conversation as it was too loud and we couldn't hear each other.
We dinned at Darley's Restaurant, that was fantastic the food, staff and service were great.
Will definitely be going there again, highly recommend it.
5 star hotel in Katoomba at Echo Point. Great location and views. The rooms are a little dated, but otherwise ok. Make sure you reserve a lounge in the main foyer if you want to relax over a book / newspaper. Even hotel guests aren't given access when serving High Tea over lunch. Can get very busy so expect to wait in line for a table at breakfast.
