Lilly's Boutique
We bought a dress from Lilly's boutique during the week. Although my daughter tried it on in the store; we realised when we got home and tried it on again that we had picked up a size 14. She is only normally a 10 - 12 and even though she is heavily pregnant we thought that the dress was too big. We took the dress back and was told that there were no 12's but could get one in by late afternoon. We had an event to go to that day and the dress would not be available in time.
The older blonde assistant in the shop was very rude and very condesending and quite frankly, a fair b...h. We were told that there were no refunds and that alot of the shops have that policy. I pointed out that when we bought the dress we were not told by her that there were no refunds to which she pointed to the sign on the wall and said it was in writing. I honestly find this really hard to believe. I have been shopping at this store over the last 10 years and always am served with a smile, great service and a laugh. If this wasn't the case i am sure it would't have lasted this long. There is always two sides to a story.
Well just came home from Stocklands, have never had a bad experience in all my years of residing in Burleigh Heads, cut a long story short I was asked aggressively by the staff whom works at Lilly's Boutique. Basically nothing that I did wrong, I have shopped and purchased garments and handbags from this cute little boutique for a few years, the owner has always taken great pride in her products and outstanding customer service accompanied with a smile, today however one of her staff whom I've never delt with before was very rude and I must say aggressive, over a minor misunderstanding at the counter the staff ended our misunderstanding by kicking me out of the store. unfortunately it's a sole business so I directly went to stock lands centre management and complained, one of the lovely young ladies from customer service accompanied me back to the store and politely ask the sales attendant as to why the staff refused my service the staff replyed I was ...read more
