Lily Hair studio

I booked in to see Lily for a full head of foils. If you read this review and think it's worth risking paying so cheap I beg you to think otherwise. My hair came out orange and yellow and patchy. She missed most of my hair line and after I asked her to fix it still missed most of my hair line. On the back of my head I have a massive burn and the hairs have literally burnt away and I'm scabbing horribly. It cost me $160 to get that head of foils and then another $200 to fix it at another salon.
I think Lily should of told me if she wasn't up for doing my hair but also she had booked lots of other clients in at the same time so wasn't bothering to check how my hair was progressing. For about 30 minutes of the booking she was speaking to a true local employee on speaker while trying to put toner in my hair and cut children's hair. I would of been mortified if she was trying to cut my hair while on the phone.
So yeah. Half star. Definitely worth paying the extra elsewhere.

Called up at around 12:30 and was super excited and happy when they booked me in for 2!! I was just getting a basic trim and re bleach (my hair was already ombré). For starters she was incredibly rough to the point that at times I just wanted to stop everything all together. Left the Salon after paying $175 with a un even cut and an absolutely awful ombré. I asked for a honey blonde (like I typically get) and left with white hair that hadn't been blended at all! Don't know what I am going to do now because my hair looks absolutely ridiculous but I don't have the money to go get I think fixed. Really unhappy with this salon!!

I just moved to Canberra from Brisbane and i found Lily from the Canberra Mum web recommended. Lily is very good in layer hair cut, I booked in for 1/2 head of blond and cut, the result was fantastic, i really like the ash blond, Lily is very gentle talking, her hands are talented with foils, she does a perfect haircut for me. I was so happy with her service and strongly recommended to anyone.115 for 1/2 foils, toner and cut is absolutely reasonable.

Yesterday, after reading good reviews , I decided to come for a style hair cut with Lily. I was so happy with the result, she cut perfectly layer around my face , after washing without blow wave still in a good shape. She is very gentle, friendly and her salon is clean and professional. Strongly recommended to everyone. 28 for lady cut is amazing.

Wow, worst hair cut I've ever gotten. First, the way she combed my hair was so rough, and it felt like she was pulling my hair out. Then she started just chopping my hair off! She was cutting my hair really quickly, bluntly, and unevenly. I was so horrified, and was really afraid she had never really cut hair before. I didn't know what to do, and was so confused because I had seen so many good reviews on this website, but she just didn't seem to know what she was doing. Eventually she asked me how I liked the layers and I tried to explain to her that it looked very choppy and I would like the layers to look a bit softer. The way that she was going at my hair really worried me that she was pulling hair out and fraying what little hair she was leaving behind. So, I let her try to fix it, but eventually said that was enough. Paid $45 just to go home in tears. Please don't go there unless you want to pay to be tortured
