Lunch not until 12 noon which is bit frustrating when you arrive at 11.30 as not much on breaky menu that’s interesting or without processed meats such as bacon, so have to choose from ready made sandwiches in display cabinet which are a bit pricey such as tuna melt (cheese, mayo, capsicum) $10.50, croissants, sandwiches, brioche buns (super sweet), need more sourdough breads. Staff lovely . I had the special soup which was autumn vegie- pureed soup very small $8 and bit bland and unimaginative. Calamari salad -lemon pepper calamari with greens, fennel, orange, home made basil ailoi $16. Brilliant coffees with bonsoy
Lily loves George is a Little café in Blackburn shops. Lunch 12-2.30 and breaky 6.30- 12noon. Only open weekday. Will go back and try calamari salad. Easy to park. had the calamari burger special this visit with ailoli, coleslaw, crunchy and yum but a bit greasy, would prefer some lighter and healthier sourdough instead of a sugary brioche bun. gets lots of local business traffic for lunches
Little café in Blackburn shops with fantastic name, friendly staff. Had the felafel burrito $13 (reasonably priced) with crispy felafel, with home made capsicum puree and hummus, fresh quinoia, tabouli, lettuce, I am not fan of the store brought wraps as they usually have lots of additives in them, prefer sourdough bread. The flavours capsicum was a bit rich it needed some lighter
