Best place to go to buy a good quality lawn mower, i bought a new Victa Commander 675EX with briggs & Stratton engine.
That was last week, i have used many lawnmowers gardening for many hours every week for the last +10 years.
We used Rovers for years, (they were very good)then we changed to Honda because we were told they are the best for our work.
We were told wrong, the Honda catchers always block and stall the engines on thick grass because 1/2 the catcher opening is closed off.
But this Victa and the last 3 before are the best & considerably cheaper with a Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke engine.
Victa's are generally lighter and more robust as well as being assembled in Australia.
As well as breaking down less and never blocking up because ALL of the back is open to the catcher .
