Lippy's Furniture & Antiques
Heritage items that will last a number of lifetimes.Who we are and what we do.
Lippys Furniture & Antiques opened its doors in March 2008 although it had been registered as a business since 2007 and many of the products had been collected years earlier. The business buys, sells and appraises retro, vintage and antique items and has many individual items collected and lovingly restored.
Lippy's Furniture & Antiques deals in unrestored, partly restored and renovated pieces. However, we are careful not to overdo any restoration, as we know this will depreciate the value. The silverware and wooden furniture are features of the business, but ceramics, glass, pottery, clocks and watches, books, magazines and ephemera, paintings and prints, cameras, postage stamps and coins, jewellery, cast and iron, music and scientific instruments, and other collectibles can also be found.
The business is owned and operated by Kevin Linton from the small Southern NSW town of Finley, occasionally it will have an auction and sometimes deal with house lots, but this depends on the situation at the time and the quality of the items concerned.
Lippy's Furniture & Antiques likes to think it deals in the best quality items and can certainly provide, 'beautiful things for special people'.

Are you looking for some special pieces of furniture for you new apartment or house. Take a weekend trip to the country town of Finley and experience what a rural town is like. While you are therechoose an item from Lippy's unique selection of furniture and talking points. I purchased an original art deco silver teapot. It has been replated so I can use it all the time....best way to keep it clean. I love it and it always reminds me of that enjoyable trip.
Kevin's antique store is such a treasure trove of different antiques and found so wonderful to browse through. What I notice in particular is the finish and shine on all of his wares and it's fantastic to be able to look at them so closely with the accompaniment of Kevin's knowledge. I'm personally interested in unrestored furniture but on seeing all of Kevin's furniture items I realised that his care and the finish all meet high standard. I really recommend to anyone to at least have a look at Kevin's antique shop.
