The lady who served me is named Nina and she is one of the rudest employees I've ever encountered. As I was paying for the bottle of wine, she asked for my ID (which is understandable), then also required to see my younger sister's ID (who is 18 years of age) which is so unnecessary? I'm the one purchasing the alcohol, so only MY ID is required. As I told her I've never experienced this in any other liquor store, she kept responding in an impolite and snobby tone.
I was not allowed to buy any alcohol because the person with me did not have is. She was clearly over 18- but the staff member wanted to see her Id before serving me.
As there is only one person working in the shop, it is quite common for the shop to be closed for 5 mins during the day when the staff member goes to the loo.
