Centre facilities are great however I don't agree with or like the way that management treat their staff. Staff members have just disappeared over the years and after asking a few questions to people its seems like anyone who speaks up for themselves is getting dismissed without even having a chance to say goodbye (as a parent at the centre this is extremely disappointing). I wouldn't recommend this centre unless you want unrealistic expectations from management (for both staff and parents) and high fees. Send your child to a more intimate caring service - there's many out there!
The new building is great- couldn't be better. The facilities are nice and the menu is outstanding. But I agree about the rules. Very inflexible. They say they will cater to the individual needs of the children, but they only will if convenient and fits into their policies. From the staff we started with at the beginning of the year, we are left at the end of term three with only one the same over the 2 rooms my children are in. The eldest has had her main carer changed twice and assistant once. One of the main carers just left suddenly. Another was sick and never came back. There was no time for the children to say goodbye, so no closure. However, to give them credit, all the carers are lovely and all smile and say hello. I just wish the staff turnover wasn't so high.
This institution follows all the rules- the children are definitely safe, and well fed in this environment. If they have a policy on something then they won't question it, just follow. The excuse is always 'it's one of our policies'. For example, they refused to put pre-mixed formula into pre-measured water because it goes against their policy. Although I have met some nice people caring for my children, administrative tasks prevents them from spending as much time with the children as what I believe is needed. The carers seem to change around a lot. Both of my children have had their main carer changed since they've been there (under 6 months), and I often walk into their room to find someone looking after my child that I have not met or been introduced to. If it is difficult for me as a parent to keep up with the carers, ...read more
