I remember enjoying this venue.
Today was not enjoyable at all.
I ordered my usual Super Salad, with chicken.
The dish came out looking flat and missing the pumpkin, and hardly any beetroot in the rice. When I pointed out about the missing pumpkin, they checked with the chef then said they'd bring it out. No apology whatsoever. The extra chicken I had was probably prepared earlier, and reheated as it was chewy and dry.
Furthermore, the chicken had lots of hairs sticking through it. See photos. ...read more
What I liked about the Little Guildford is that they focused on local produce and local wines. The venue itself is rustic and the caf is very popular on the weekends for breakfast, brunch and lunch, so much so that the service is pretty poor. You have to wait a very long time for your coffee or food order. Even though the focus is local, the coffee and drink prices are on the high side.
