Unfortunately no good review or interesting comments. We rented through this company for many years and and the end of the contract it was horrific. Members of there staff are not interested in helping unless it helps themselves. Please do yourself a favour and stay clear of this
dodgy company.
I rented through LJ Hooker for four and a half miserable years. When you first view the property there are some things are not working and they will state that it is approved to be repaired but you will be chasing them up in my experience sometimes a couple of years any maintenance issues that arise will result with you playing cat and mouse trying to get hold of anybody and they wont call you back if you leave messages. Forget bringing up maintenance issues at inspections because they will write it down but will do nothing about it .. They will always blame delays on the tradesmen and at times when out of frustration I have contacted the tradesmen I get told a totally different story to what LJ Hooker told me, quite often they are waiting for LJ hooker to call them back. Was very happy with this agency until our property manager was changed mid-contract... Was not advised of any changes therefore our queries were going un-answered for weeks as our old PM would forward to the new PM who would take forever to answer anything! We had asked for help finding a larger property through them 4months before our end of lease, all we were told was that if anything came up we would be the first to know (YEAH RIGHT) that didn't happen we had to wait to see listings on their website and still weren't notified of them by LJ's. They also failed to let us know when our property was put up for rent, I saw it on their website that's the only way we knew about it! We had always paid our rent on time, always maintained the property yet they did nothing to help us out.The main thing I can say about them is they'll be nice to you when they know they have you as a client and you're paying them good money!
