Loaf and Lounge

This venue was very good several years ago, but has slowly gone down hill ever since, it's now obvious that they give higher priority to take away customers as the wait for a coffee / food is much slower than takeaway which is also much slowly than it use to be. Why have two locations to order is beyond me, take all the orders in one location like other shops, which gives you an extra staff member to fasten the food / drinks to customers process

The renovations made a much nicer eating area, but apart from the excellent pies, the quality of the baking has become highly variable. Some pastries will be perfect while others are underdone and stingy with quantity and icing. Good staff, though.
