Finding a good hairdresser is hard, so when you finally find one who does a good job, you don't want to go anywhere else. Jenny and the staff at lock and roll hairdressing are amazing. They take the trouble to listen to you to find out exactly what you want and then give their advice as to what will suit you and how it can be done. They are friendly, extremely professional and experienced and won't let you leave the salon until they are sure that you are 100% satisfied with the job they've done. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for such a professional salon. They take great care to make you feel comfortable and offer you free refreshments as well as a wonderful head massage once they've washed your hair. Jenny often throws in a free hair treatment to her regular clients and apart from being a great hairdresser, she's a good listener, not only about your hairdressing needs, but about life in general. I chop and change hairdressers quite regularly as I often find that after I've visited them a few times, the quality of my haircut seems to drop.

Not with Jenny from Lok n Roll. I guess I've been coming for 12 months or so and I still remain impressed by the following things:

Her salon - it's bright, it's clean and very comfortable. She has lovely coffee with yummy little biscuits, there's a massage chair and a pleasant waiting area.

Her professionalism. Jenny is a perfectionist and she wants you to leave the salon happy. She makes every effort to make sure she carries out your wishes.

The price. Lok n Roll is very reasonably priced for the quality of the service.

The quality of the cut and colour. All the best products are used and Jenny always manages to make me look just how I wanted to look.

Highly recommend.

I went to Lock 'n' Roll for the first time last year as I had purchased a voucher book that allowed me to have my Hair and Make Up done (valued at $90) for free. I actually had two vouchers so I decided to use them for my sister's engagement party and then for her wedding. Unfortunately the make up artist injured her arm badly right before the day of the engagement party, I was impressed by the honesty and sincerity of the lady who called to let me know that I couldn't get my make up done that day, but she assured me I could still get my hair done. She offered me another time to use the make up part, plus gave me a free hair product and a second blow dry voucher to make up for the last minute cancellation. I have been a client of Lock 'n' Roll for the past two years. I have found the family team to be nothing but friendly, helpful and amazing at their trade. The ladies are very experienced and together create a wonderful atmosphere for their clients. The salon is also very homely but proffesional, which gives you a private and relaxing place to have your hair done. Even better is that they are very competitive in their pricing, and provide quick, honest and skilled service. I had a horrible experience with lock n roll. I made an appointment months in advance as I had an important event, then called to confirm the days beforehand but no one picked up and they never called back. The day of the appointment I couldn't find the place so called about 50 times and again no answer. Finally found it, only one other customer there but I still had to wait 10 minutes to speak to anyone and when I did they told me they couldn't answer the phone because they were busy. They then proceeded to tell me they couldn't do my makeup because they makeup artist wasn't there. They were unapologetic and provided no explanation, and hadn't bothered to call me and tell me so I wasted my morning going down there and then had to rush to get my own makeup done for the event I had that night!
