And Feng Shui helps your achieve your goals quicker!Edgar (Lok Tin) Yung, has been using feng shui and Chinese astrology including bazhai (also known as 4 pillars or 8 words) and ziwei duo shu to assist the Chinese community in Melbourne since early 2000.
Edgar has been regularly contributing feng shui and Chinese astrology articles to two local Chinese weekly magazines.
In 2007, 2008 Edgar was interviewed by ABC radio 774 Lindy Burnt and Jon Faine respectively.
The Chinese astrology is to analyse human destiny and find out which direction in life is best for them.
Ba zhai: ba = 8, zhai = words.
Also known as four pillars which use the birth day and birth time (year, month, day and time) as a data source to read or analyse a person's whole life. By calculating the four pillars can analyse wealth, relationships, career and many other aspects of an individual's destiny.
Each year, month, day and time is represent by 1x heavenly stem and 1x earthly branch. They are added up to total of 8 Chinese characters. That is why it is also known as 8 words.
Feng shui!
Feng means 'wind' and shui means 'water' and is the ancient Chinese method of choosing a place to live.
The central concept of feng shui is "chi" (sometimes written as "qi") or energy. While chi is invisible, it can embody matter or forms (as in the formula e = mc2 ). Energy and matter is interchangeable in much the same way as ice and steam are.
Chi is classified into five types: metal, water, wood (sometimes translated as tree), fire, and earth or soil. Collectively they are called "wu xing" or the five elements or five transformations.
Feng shui studies chi in relation to a location. Good chi will bring good things to the house such as wealth, health, fame and fortune. On the other hand, bad chi brings misfortune, illness and even miscarriage.
Feng shui is to analyse a house, office or shops. It is to avoiding the bad energy.
