Lone Star Rib House
Went here for dinner on a Saturday night and they accommodated us near the bar on stools. Who knew it was so popular you needed a booking! Service was friendly, but our waitress seemed quite new and didn't know much. Food was quick and quite tatsy. Although incredibly over priced for what it offers. It's definitely not a place to come for a quiet dinner....
Not at all happy. The place was very quite yet we were sat next to a couple and their 2 boys (around 6 - 8yrs old) who were playing up. Uncomfortable for us. Ribs came out and they had place the ribs onto of my husband's chips (they were all soggy.) My "baked potato" was more like boiled potato. The ribs had large chunks of meat that had not got any sauce on them. Cole slaw was OK. A bit to chunky of me.
Sorry but my partner and I had an average experience (considering we were excited to visit)
Our waitress had no idea about the menu. I asked for diet coke and was informed the didnt sell it, despite it being on the menu.
When we couldnt decide, our waitress offered us a cheesy garlic bread "whilst we waited" yet despite this complimentary gesture, it was snuck onto our bill.
I then wanted just water and was charged for "soda" on the bill as she gave me mineral water (another sneaky extra) and lastly, we asked if chips came with the burger in which our waitress said no, so we asked for chips but when our meal came out we had extra chips that we had to send bac plus our steaks were cold :(
