Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon

Great steaks, and I love eating here, specially for lunches.

steak had too much fat, salad was basic for the price and had no taste. to charge people for gravy on steak is rubbish. there cheese fries had next to no bacon and over priced for a plate of chips. would not go there again.

Lone Star is good value for money and show a good time for any one having a birthday. The food is great and generally little wait for service even in a busy time. There also have value days were kid eat free.

I have dined here on many occasions, both as work functions and family dinners. My family enjoys the variety offered in the meals, including the children's menu. The service is always a bit on the slow side, but the food quality and atmosphere is usually very good.



My most recent visit was on a Wednesday night and was most disappointing. Our meals took an hour to arrive and were cold on arrival (the sweet potato was not warm enough to begin to melt the whipped butter topping). I was unable to attract a servers attention in this time to refresh our drinks and noone checked back on us after our meals were delivered (the icecream included with the kids meals was not offered). They clearly were not coping with the almost-full restaurant.

A little bit of Texas in Oz. The food and service is just great. Caters for a family, party or just a couple. The menu is great but the problem is what great meal will you choose tonight. The staff are friendly and once an hour stops for a dance. If it is your birthday a great fudge derrest is all yours.
