My months-long marathon search for the perfect pair of spectacles finally concluded at the Look Room; the "Dr Jekyll" side of eye wear boutique . Although I had to ask one of the staff to unlock the Look Room and accompany me on my grueling, narcissistic voyage of peering and squinting through a billion different frames; this turned out to be a huge advantage! The staff are cheerful, helpful and willing to suggest frames that one would not normally consider, as well as offering an honest appraisal of how everything looks. The frames stocked in the Look Room are also vastly delightful, and vary far more than I had expected. Rather than being corralled by fashion into hipster-huge square windscreens of glasses, I was free to browse a midst frames of all different shapes and sizes - round, oval, rectangular, upswept, retro, steampunk, sporty, and make-me-curator-of-everything arty. It is only open on We'd, Thur & Friday afternoons, but in our willingness to help you, our iSpex Funky Spex staff opened the LookRoom especially for you.
