Loquat Restaurant & Bar Sorrento

Wake up or you will drive right past it. Just before Sorrento, this quaint former house and local general store is actually below ground, so to speak. Anyway, the staff are exceptionally friendly - maybe too much. The food exquisite, although the salmon I had needed a couple of vegies to be filling and that is something they should consider. By comparison the duck needed nothing else at all. Also the Ginger Creme Brule was wonderful, however, it needed more quince compote. The coffee was perfect - taste and temperature - thank you. But if you are having a three course meal, including the pricey wines, make sure you have close to $200 on you. You will enjoy it so don't think about the? cost too much.
