Louie's Deli and Cafe

Absolutely disgraceful and rude service and ridiculously overpriced. Spent too much money on a mediocre sandwich that took 20 minutes to serve AFTER I had to ask for it to be sent out 3 times. Staff were not even remotely apologetic about the delay and did not even receive an apology from the management. Do not waste your time and money on this terrible place with disgracefully rude staff.

Awful service, rude staff. I recommend you go somewhere else! There are many great, friendlier places on Glenferrie Rd.

Been going there for over 10 years. Still treated like a stranger by management. Long wait times at counter as staff continue to make sandwiches etc. Very off putting. Cafe needs refurbishing very dirty toilets. Also staff are very noisy and too friendly with customers. Children are allowed to yell and run around disturbing customers wanting a quiet coffee.

Management very unfriendly. Fails to greet customers who have been coming to cafe long term. Counter service can be very poor. When waiting at counter to be served, the staff seem to ignore you and continue to make their sandwiches and do whatever and don't seem to notice you until a couple of minutes. It is a family friendly cafe but at times when young children come in staff inappropriately kiss, cuddle and talk very loudly to the children as if they are long lost relatives. it is annoying for people coming in for a peaceful coffee. The staff talk very loudly but that is the atmosphere. On a positive note, their coffee is second to none.

Staff need to be more friendly.
