I had booked a standard 60,000 service at a cost of $341.59 and ended up paying $636.20 because they found extras to be done!
Mainly the fuel injectors , plus replacement air filter and spark plugs.
A family member asked after I forked out this money why on earth would the fuel injectors need to be done on a car that has only done 60,000ks. They had told me it had something to do with the petrol economy but as I am running it on about $20-$25 per week I feel pretty stupid.
They spent an hour on the car which included taking it for a drive, jacking it up and telling me about all the extra work required then they dissappeared for 2 hours. They returned and worked for maybe 3 hours. I am beginning to wonder if a 60,000 service, a 3 in one injector service plus replacing the air filter and spark plugs can be completed in less than 4 hours!
