My son had surgery with Dr. Caroline Howarth. She was fantastic in every way. Highly recommend her and Lucas Dental Care.

Still 5 stars for the meticulous attention to dental check up and treatments of adults and kids. I have never experience such a detailed check and clean which took about half an hour. Each tooth was given the utmost attention. However, those with BUPA pay a lot more gap now since all the specialists are no longer covered, which is very disappointing. Be prepare to part with at least a few hundred dollars or more depending on what needed to be done. Very costly when it comes to little kids. On the upside, they are excellent at what they do. The general dentists have less gap. All the dental services remain tops.

We went there after i have discovered a black stain (apparently a hole) in one of my daughter's molars (3.5 y.o). The doctor was nice talking her into the chair and everything, can not complain about this. But when it came to treatment options - we were given only one - under full anaestetic to make 3 crowns (?!) and 4 fillings :-O

As we are very uncomfortable with an idea to go under full anaestetic unless it is really needed (i have never been given one so far and hope it will stay like this for a while) we have asked for any other option and were told "well, we can try to make a filling, but in two months or so you will come back to make crowns anyway". Excellent paediatric care. With previous horrifying experience with paediatric dental, we're glad to find people who know what they're doing and doing it well. There's Kids Zone in the Malvern practise and the room is decorated to entertain kids while having their teeth checked. Kids get their rewards after the check up. Although the fee is higher than some other dentists, I will definitely come here for my own check up.
