Excellent customer service although a bit noisy inside. Pizza base is slightly thicker than your wood fire pizza.

Despite the mixed reviews I've seen, I have enjoyed this place. I really enjoy pizzas, especially ones with beautiful ingredients and excellent combinations with thin crust and L'uccellino's of Yarraville delivered on all fronts. Thankfully we booked prior and this was for a Saturday night. This place was full with heaps of tables all squished in together. Not just a pizza place, there are other Italian dishes to try from the menu. It gets quite packed. The service was otherwise very good and the atmosphere is cosy and ambient.

A few gifriends and myself dined at L'uccellino In yarraville last Saturday day night. We will never be going back again! We made a booking for 7pm. When making the booking we were informed that we had to be out by 8.15 due to having another booking. We ordered 4 pizzas. When the food was brought to our table we were shocked with the poor amount of toppings on the pizza which was hidden by the ridiculous amount of rocked on top. Just before 8pm staff began to stare at us and point at us while talking to each other which made us feel very uncomfortable. Then the 815 booking walked in 15 minutes early. The staff pointed us out and the group then waited outside. We were approached by a management.They apologised and informed us they had over booked. We told them that we would finish eating our meal. The pizzas are fantastic and the dessert pizzas are to die for! I thought the dessert pizzas would be a gimmick but they are delicious and quite inventive. It is a very busy but definitely worth the wait. Great atmosphere and service. I will definitely be back!

We were rather surprised at the look of the pizzas - being used to Domino's and such which are loaded with topping, these appeared to be a little lean. The proof was definitely in the eating, however - definitely NOT 'just a pizza' (adnil_77)! The combination and quality of ingredients was simply perfect, and the crust - words fail me - just heavenly!

Service was good - we arrived at 9.15 pm (just in from Perth) and had a while to wait for the food, but water was kept topped up, and drinks were quick to arrive.
