Lucio is probably one of the most talked-about restaurants amongst the pizza lovers in Sydney, and when it came to my attention I decided to give this place a try.
Half-an-hour wait seems to be the norm at Lucio like when we first tred to get a table on a Saturday night (in which we decided to go elsewhere), and then a few weeks later on a Sunday night. The restaurant is relatively small with mostly outdoor seats and the place seems to always be full.
The staffs are very friendly. They kept us informed of the status of the wait times every so often, and were very polite throughout our stay.
We bought a few pizzas and my personal favourite would be their Lucio Pizze Della Casa. Although they were delicious, I would not say that they were the best pizzas I have tasted, especially considering the premium price.
Lucio do not serve pasta something that I do find missing from this place.
Lucio is the perfect host in this Neapolitan pizzeria home from home. The pizza is perfection, but you must also have the mixed antipasti plate, share it between you but don't fight over it. The wine list is just right for the food, my favourite the juicy Sicilian Nero d'Avola.mmmmm
Just the best pizza in Australia, just go there!
I've been told the pizza's here are the best, well I disagree, they are good but for a 30 minute wait, plus the pizza's lacked allot of toppings unlike Bar Reggio around the corning. The service was good here though, and very quick. Maybe I just went there on a bad day.
