TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Had birthday celebration with my friends in Lucky Chan today and we all regreted to choosed this place. The seafood is not fresh, taste is bad. The price couldn't justify the quality of the food, not to mentioned service is horrible. I asked them to refill hot water for tea pot, they just ignore even we had eye contact or just next to us. They rather stand far away to avoid serving us and other tables.
What an insult! Sonny (Pic attached), Lucky Chan's floor manager from Hong Kong was extremely rude. We wanted to celebrate our New Year dinner (1st Jan 2017) but unfortunately met this unprofessional yet ill-mannered manager. We were the first batch of customers with another 4 groups. Restaurant were totally empty as they just reopened after their break.
Sonny brought us to a table but my parents politely requested a table that nearer to the water view but Sonny's attitude was extremely rude and sarcastically said "this is the best table in this restaurant" and refuse to change. ...read more
This place may looks like an expensive and small portion resturant from the outside but I can assure you it is not! This place contains great views and its food are well presented and reasonably priced. Their steamed oysters were delicious and highly recommended. I would stay away from their soup as they lack flavour. Otherwise, a very good experience overall!
I had a wonderful meal at Lucky Chan and once again fell in love with the place! The food is great, the service fantastic and there is plenty to choose from. Even the custard buns at the end of the meal were delicious (and Asian desserts can be an acquired taste!) The dcor is stylish but it's not a stuffy place, you can relax in casual clothes and take your time.
