Luke Benchmark
The food here is fantastic thanks to local chef Luke Collins. As a resident of "The Shire" I am thrilled that City-dining has made it's way over Tom Ugly's bridge. Luke's signature oyster dishes are amazing and the mid-week dinner special is incredible value. So much better value than dining in over-priced and over-rated restaurants.
just discovered Lukes Benchmark last Wednesday night and I live in st George area not in the shire. Four of us did not have mid week special as main menu sounded to good. I cannot stop thinking about our amazing dinner and want to go back as quickly as possible. This eatery is not for the steak and French fries type of person or the prawn cocktail type either. Wow this is classy food not seen in our suburbs ever to my knowledge. unfortunately we were running late arriving for our booking so every one seemed to come in all at once so service was pretty slow. We waited quite long time for our main course but it was worth waiting for. Apologies were offered by smiling waitress and chef had instructed her to make the lovely fresh cooked damper served warm, to be taken off the bill. This eatery is not real cheap but quality and class shows on the plate. Congratulations to Luke Collins.
