Lunar Drive-in Theatre

Love the drive in! It has become a favourite, I actually think I enjoy it more than going to the regular cinemas. Gotta love the hot jam donuts!!

Love this place. Watched a movie with my dog! Cheap prices and much improved sound system through your stereo. Great experience for the kids.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE the drive in, We go as often as possible. We have kids and find the drive-in so much cheaper than going the the cinema. Only down side is the toilets, they are pretty yuk.

Love this place. Family friendly and even pet friendly too (yes you can take your dog). The atmosphere is great. No more annoying people kicking the back of your seat or annoyingly playing with their mobile phones... its just you and your friends in your car. You can have the sound up as high or low as you want as you tune in via your car stereo. We prefer to go to the later starting movies 9.30pm and later as there are less kids wandering around as that can get quite annoying after a while. Works out much cheaper than a traditional cinema too especially if you take a car load. On hot summer nights take a blanket and sit outside your car for a magical experience.

I was surprised by my husband for The Muppets movie and the whole experience was unforgetable. It's a great vibe, with loads of families and kids in pyjamas, it was a really nice way to get away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. I loved it!

You can get a radio at the cafe and that was perfect if you forgot yours or you don't want to use your car's radio. Can't wait to go again, get there early and don't forget to get buy popcorn!
