Lunch time basketball in Mckinnon primary school ,the fun way to play sports!Thursday lunch time 1.30-2.15 in the hall.Great way to stay active and make new friends!!Lunch time basketball is a modified basketball program with modified equipment to introduce basketball and team sport to school children in grade 3 and 4.
Learning basketball from an experienced coach its a great advantage.The kids have the opportunity to learn the skills of basketball in a fun and safe way.Learning the rigth technique of dribbling,shooting,and moving with the ball,in a young age is a strong foundation for all other invasion sports.Improving eye and hand coordination and concentration in the basketball court ,will help your child in the clasroom with reading,writing,and other learning skills.
Lunch time basketball improves fundamental motor skills used in physical education and in primary school sports as:catching,throwing,jumping,running,vertical jump,overhead throw.
