I wouldn't recommend purchasing online from this store. I purchased a white ceramic jar (approx 25cm) that cost $35 to post. When it arrived, the jar and lid were wrapped separately and the lid did not fit the jar. The item had clearly not been checked before packaging. I emailed them to organise a replacement, and she said I would need to send the jar back at my own cost (approx $20), and pay another $35 for return postage (via courier). Firstly, all our jars, whether ceramic or glass are packed in their product box, wrapped individually so as to minimise damage in transit. Luxe: The response from you below says "A replacement item wouldve been offered to you as well as a free postage to get it replaced." The original email you sent me read "When returned items are received by Luxe Homewares, we will post the same Canister and you will incur a $35 postage fee. Postage costs are non-refundable and unfortunately cannot be avoided." After further emails from me, you agreed to forfeit the redelivery charge of $35, but you still insisted that I pay to return the item to you ("Any postage charges incurred for delivery of returned items will be the customerĂ¢??s responsibility") even though, as you state below, the delivery of a faulty item was due to your own oversight.
