Lyssy May is a specialty handmade handbag and gift store located in Morningside. The store doubles as a studio and retail space and provides customers with the experience of seeing the accessory designs being made on-site.

Lyssy May's own brand of fabric handbag designs have a reputation as being unique and stylish and incorporate gorgeous fabrics and trims. There is also a custom made service which enables clients to choose their own style of bag to ensure they have something that exactly meets their needs - whether it be an everyday bag for work or something for a special occasion.

Beyond the selection of handbags, the store is also home to the work of independent designers, many of whom are local. Amongst the array of giftware you’ll find funky jewellery, children’s clothes and gifts, scarves, hats, aprons, candles, stationery and many other handmade gems that you will not find elsewhere.
