The buidings I have been constructing for the past 12 years are very energy efficient and the use of recycled and low embodied energy materials are used extensively.

The advice that is given during a house inspection with the buyer present is very helpful and I give good feedback as to costs of improving the property or renovating in a green way.

Previous clients have then gone into the purchase with there eyes open and a very realistic idea of what the property condition is in. In the past I have been called to look at homes that others have bought and had a conventional building report done just to be told that they were up for thousands just to make the house safe to live in. Obviously this is upsetting and might of been avoided with a inspection with myself and being there to ask questions and not to get a report that not all people can understand.
