Firstly they lost our booking call, secondly they misquoted for a system that was already in use. We wanted a new split system installed to replace the one we have that died and they quoted $2700+ to supply and install a new system. The visiting service staff said we don't need any new mounting or a new power line installed or drip pipe, but when we got the quote the charges included new mounting and powerline run etc. We originally chose MG Brown because they were local and had been around for a while - what a mistake on my part that was. I think old fashioned Ballarat Service died in the 90's. Trying to follow up this quote for corrections was futile.

Really dissapointed with this company. Asked for a quote for central heating, taken about a week to respond - when they did they asked me to send through a floor plan so they could do the quote. I did so, but a week later they replied (after several emails to them by myself to follow up) saying that they could not read the attachment - so I sent it through again. Well another week passed and clearly I had to keep chasing them for the quote - it finally came through - only problem was that they quoted for air conditioning not the central heating I asked for! Well giving them one last chance I asked for them to do the central heating quote again as I never wanted air conditioning....... you guessed it - No reply - its been well over a month and still no quote or reply. Very poor service - If they were too busy I wish they were up front from the start. I never complain but this really was poor service.
