M.I.S Painting & Flooring

We had a four bedroom house (attached is the quote). It was supposed to be painted half by half. we live in master first and move to the other part when it comes to master. We ended up leaving our house for 6 nights. He messed up all the house at one day and did not have any schedule for separating the house to two parts. We asked him to leave the work unfinished because we found the quality of work low and nothing was going as planned. At the quoting stage I discussed with him about the bedrooms doors and he said all good to go with painting and when we came home after 6 days I realised even asking simple questions about how we can manage to do repaint the doors ourselves made him shouting at us and saying that at first I had told you to go to bunnings and buy doors for $10!!! We needed our bathroom painted as the previous painters just painted over what was there MIS owner Amin came out quoted and then came a few weeks later and striped all the walls back then showed us all the holes underneath. He then fill them all and put on a number of coats including anti mold paint explaining everything as he proceeded. I found him great to deal with and could would thoroughly recommend any of his services Great to deal with.

If you use MIS painting, which I don't advise, I recommend you stay in the house whilst they are painting to make sure they do what they quote you. Our quote was for 2 coats with sanding in between. It took 2 days to complete in our 3 story town house which we thought was great. However when this faster than expected job was 'completed' and paid for we noticed areas where a second coat wasn't done, and areas that they'd completely missed.
When we asked them to come back and fix the job, we called Anthony once a week for 3 weeks, and each time he apologised profusely and each time said he'd be there "next week". He never came. When we finally told him we give up we'll get someone else to do it and give him an honest review here, he said he'd come the next day at 6pm, and, you guessed it, he didn't come (he did call and say he'd be there the next day at 6pm, but of course he didn't come). ...read more
