Will definitely use Tim's services again. Called at 8pm Wednesday night after having trouble getting my car started. Managed to fit me in today (Thursday). Turned up on time, very professional, accurate quote and great price. Won't be going back to the dealer in future. As a female, was nice to have the work done from home, and not have to sit around at a mechanical workshop for several hours waiting!!!. Our 95 Holden just wouldn't start this morning, and after considering whether to try and fix it ourselves, replacing the battery, or maybe the alternator ourselves, I searched TrueLocal and called Tim from Macarthur Mobile Repairs. He was the first in the list, and he was local to me at Cobbitty, so I thought I'd give him a shot. The phone was answered straight away, and I was told he would be here in 10 minutes. He showed up in 8. He opened the bonnet, diagnosed the problem, and had an answer for us straight away. (it was the battery) He found that one of my cells in the battery was dead, explained it all to us, went and got another one. Replaced the battery, and checked the alternator just to be sure we were fixing it all. The whole job was done in an hour. Top bloke. Stuff the dealers. I'll just call Tim.
