I have been to this bakery several times. The freshness of the pastries and pies have been inconsistent at best, the bread - in particular - is left wanting (and you only get the choice of thick slices which I don't like). You rarely get a smile from most of the staff members behind the counter and quite often they are talking to each other while they're serving you. When you order it feels like you're interrupting their day. Very ordinary for service and for freshness.
I have had sausage rolls, pies, bread and sweets from this bakery which I really wasn't blown away from, I'd rather go to the service station across the road. But today was the last straw when I had to pay $2.30 for a croissant. There was nothing special about this croissant, no gold pieces in it, nobody had blessed this croissant it was just a plain croissant that you could purchase anywhere else for a whole lot less. The service isn't wonderful and I can say that I will definitely not be going back.
