Macedon Spa Motel has 36 rooms, every one with a spa, king bed, serene views, flat screen TV, in house DVDs, mini bar and luxurious bathroom. And anyone who stays receives a pass into the wet area of our Day Spa – luxuriate in the spa and indoor heated pool for no extra charge! Our standard rooms start at $200 per double but choose a Starlight Room for $265 and bask in the glow of the Milky Way from your very own spa (built for two!) or go all the way with a lavish Starlight Deluxe suite for just $290. It may look ok form the outside but the customer service is disgraceful. The staff refused to fix problems with the room because they claimed they couldn't leave the office because staff was the only one working. Staff was dismissive and rude and whe I dared complain staff later refused to let us into the restaurant! GIVE THIS ONE A WIDE BERTH - THEY DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS
There are two sides to every story, no staff member no matter what business deserves to be sworn at, feel threatened & offended by any guest. This is the first person to be actually barred from returning as is the most discourteous, unreasonable guest business has ever had
I have been to the buffet breakfast and it was really ordinary!!! Not worth the money.
I also went to a christmas function in their function room and they ran out of meat in the buffet so some of the people on the last table only got vegies! And the vegetarian meal that I ate was plain and awful!
We organised a girls day at the spa and were utterly disappointed. We arrived early, as pre arranged, to use the wet area however the spa and pool was cold. We then had an hour massage which turned out to be the worst massage I have ever had if you could actually call it a massage! The staff was yawning throughout and you could bearily call my massage a rub let alone a massage! The spa is located in such a beautiful location however the establishment is dated and quite dirty with clients given frayed towels and reused, but washed, slippers to wear. It was a very disappointing experience and not one that I would recommend which is a shame.
We organised a girls weekend away, we stayed in the house they have available and recived a gift voucher for complementry spa treatment. Our stay was delightful and very relaxing the house was warm and welcoming, it had a spa which we enjoyed. The spa treatment was one of the best experiences i have had, the staff were frinedly and always on hand to help. We had dinner at the restaurant on the premises and found the food to be great. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed a lovely 2 day stay, the room was excellent clean well presented and very comfortable, it was made all the more enjoyable by the friendliness of the owner and his staff, beautiful views and a lovely buffet style cooked breakfast added to the experience. I highly recommend Macedon Spa for either a night or a prolonged stay. The only reason I have not gone to 5 stars was the restaurant evening meal, the menu needs some work.
