Macquarie Discount Pharmacy

This Pharmacy is totally not worth any discount. My client moved home in December 2016, and she has her webster pack delivered every second Tuesday. I have had to call this pharmacy every fortnight to inquire where her medication is. Noone at this Pharmacy seems to know what they are doing. I have told them thay if this happens again then I will be taking my clients scripts to another pharmacy.

Price is ok, but they charged me full price for prescription rather than concession; I am a healthcare card holder and submitted the card along with my scripts.

As I was paying at the check out counter, I asked the staff at the pay counter whether it is a possibility that this might perhaps a wrong price (twice as much as I usually pay). The staff completely ignored my query and when I asked again the staff just muttered something dismissive, but not addressing my concern.

I said I would go back and check with the pharmacists at the script counter and sure enough I had been charged full price.

When I went back to the counter with the pharmacist (or assistant) to get a refund of over $30 for the difference for the 3 scripts, the staff was rude and dismissive rather than acknowledging my concern had been valid.

Very poor and lack of professional conduct. I will not go back there and have relayed my experience through my network.

I've always been very pleased with the customer service that I get at this pharmacy. I have minded the longish waiting time for prescriptions, I just plan around them or go off to a large nearby store where I can have an enjoyable browse. Overall, I have found the good service and prices have kept me going back.

Admittedly slightly chaotic but knowledgable and helpful and I havent found better proces anywhere - everytime i have checked they have been SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than elsewhere - especially for non PBS drugs

very disappointed with the service, after handing the script I was told that the waiting time will be up to 15 minutes, I had to wait 45 minutes and no one bothered to give me an update on how long it will take for the script to be done. If you need fast service, I will not recommend them
