The beautiful Town of Fremantle has a long historical tradition of being a market town. So in keeping with tradition Fremantle City Council have made the wonderful decision to once more support the weekly markets in King's Square. Right in the centre of historic Fremantle.


Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at King's Square, Mad Hatter Markets hosts a vibrant market where you can find a wide array of art and crafts. Fresh local produce is available and you can soak up the atmosphere of the local community.

Why not come along for a coffee or breakfast at one of the many food producing stalls or pick up your veggi supplies as fresh as they can be. Try food from around the world! You can eat there or to take home and cook.

Sit and relax in good company and enjoy the music performed live every week by different local artists.

Enjoy a wide range of merchandise, products and services on offer from the traders at the market. Everything from food to cosmetics, plants to paintings. Gifts for yourself and those you love.
Displaying the vibrancy of the local community in full. The true spirit of Fremantle has been captured here at the markets, with life, love and the persuit of happiness everywhere to be found.

While local artists practise their skills for the public, local producers sell their goods. Families can get somthing to eat and the kids can be entertained, maybe even educated! Why not come along and see for yourself.
