Pretty much what I expected from a Madame Tussuads, having never been in one before. It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be so I guess it's only really worth the money if you're really interested in that sort of thing. There are many different rooms sorted by theme (the Aussie politics and music rooms were pretty good) and possibly the most interesting was the exhibit on how they make the wax sculptures. They are rather well made which is impressive. Personally I'd recommend the Aquarium or Wildlife World next door before this museum especially for tourists.
I LOVED this!!! I haven't been in over twenty years when I think it was a visiting exhibit in Sydney temporary casino. It was excellent. The likeness of the models is incredible. I love that you can stand so close you almost feel embarrassed as though you are standing beside the real person. And the information plate on each person is so informative.
The place takes up a good few hours of your day.
Interesting how the wax figures looks so real. I had fun taking pics with all the 'celebrities' - Singers, politicians, actors, doctors, athletes, spiritual leaders and more.
At the end my friend and I got our hands molded in wax so that was a cool souvenir to take home.
However, if you are just going to 'Madame Tussauds' and no other attractions the entry price is a little expensive. So it's best to buy one of their attractions deals.
