I went here with friends for dinner on NYE. Prior to attending, the staff were extremely good. I booked online and accidentally had hit 8am instead of 8pm, they picked this up and called me to adjust. I also received a confirmation prior to the dinner as requested. The menu is what would be classified as modern australian / thai inspired. It is quite an extensive menu, entrees consisted of jerky, duck, sausage, soups, dumplings and more. Great tasty thai food here at Magic Mountain Saloon. An unusual name for a restaurant but thats what makes its unique and memorable. Had a birthday dinner here with close friends and the birthday girl is a bug fan of thai food so we were referred to cone here to Magic Mountain Saloon to try out the thai food. The really enjoyed the papaya salad, at the same time is was spicy hot it was really addictive. I didn't want to stop eating in even though my tongue was slightly starting to tingle because of the spiciness. The other dishes were also great and the birthday girl was definitely satisfied as she enjoyed every dish. Great experience and totally recommend.
Magic Mountain serves beautiful Thai food in an uber-trendy setting that is buzzing with activity. The drinks menu is legendary and it's not hard to get me to drink a cocktail with prosecco as I think a good prosecco is even better than champagne! The food was delicious and staff friendly and helpful. It does get very busy so it's best to come and savour the experience rather than eat and run. My only gripe was the noise level.
