Magill Bbq Chickens

Great chips, but I have down graded my rating to a 3 because the man who answered the phone was also called Steve and it was very confusing saying "Hi Steve, I would like to make a pick up order for Steve", along with the hellos and goodbyes just generally being rather annoying. Secondly, I accidentally gave the woman $10.50 after she said $11.50. I must've have miss counted my money and she said "you got an extra dollar mate?". I gave her another dollar thinking it was a tip that she requested from me. Again, just a little annoying. I don't need that rubbish. Simply don't have time for the confusion etc. But the chips were good.

Chips are amazing. Always enjoy the burgers. Salads can be average. And it'd be good if they cleaned up the exterior dining spot regularly.

We've been in the area for 12 months and regularly bought food from here. It's a handy location for us and a bbq chicken for Friday night was a regular occurrence in our home. For the most part, the food itself was all good. Tasty chickens, delicious hot chips - all good. Then recently, the staff serving me was really rude. I would normally let things like this go but staff tossed the bag across the counter, more focused on the cash register, cut me short when I tried to offer friendly conversation, shut me down on more than one occasion when I tried to speak. I just put up with it until I got home and realised our order was wrong. I was furious and went back. Denied staff was wrong. Management denied staff was rude. I was wrong, apparently. They offered a small chips to make up (what I was already charged for anyway) and I left. Not before staff threw a sarcastic 'have a nice weekend!" when staff gave me the chips. I don't even want to give it half a star. Seriously, seriously bad food. Chips were so dry as to actually suck moisture from your body. C***py frozen fish. And the now Infamous Spring Roll. Black on one side. I don't think I could ever eat a spring roll again. I'm just thankful I didn't eat it and that it wasn't packed with the rest of the food. I probably wouldn't buy any salad either.

The chips are just the right amount of crunch with the softest potato inside. The chickens have an amazing taste. They also do a lot of burgers and other things.
