Magnetic Island Bannister Seafood

still one the best places on the island for value for money, dining out is pretty expensive on the island, due to locality but bannisters is one of the chepest for good quality fresh food, calamari on greek salad is still great. low key dining in nice surroundings.

serviced can be a bit slow and staff not not that friendly, very popular. take away menu and eat in menu. we ate here 3 times for dinner (dining in) in sept 2010. lovely garden courtyard setting as well as indoors available. the calamari salad is healthy and delicous. BYO alcohol (only, dont serve any drinks) where they charge $3 per person drinking alcohol is a bit expensive (they dont offer fridge/ice or anything for it?). on the whole food is pretty good and reasonable priced for magnetic island (food is not that cheap on magnetic island). one of the better places to eat dinner on island.
