Maha is a buzz place, easily living up to its shiny reputation. Simply finding the premises down a laneway in a basement sets the tone for an evening of discovery. The four-course soufra menu is amazing value, set off with a selection of small hot and cold dishes to share. The standout dish is quail wrapped in vine leaves. I've been to Maha a couple of times for work functions and have always had extremely positive experiences here. They serve modern Middle Eastern inspired affairs and the banquet menu is a must try, extremely well priced and well presented. The barramundi and the hummus lamb here are my favourites!! The decor takes you away from hustle & bustle of the city and it is an exotic and ambient enviornment. Staff were warm & friendly.
We had the four course banquet, it was absolutely delicious! All of the food was some of the best I've ever had. Not just inventive but tasty. The drinks were really good too! Prices are reasonable for the quality. Maha is also lovely inside and the staff were great. A+ Highly Recommended.
