Maheno is the main restaurant at Kingfisher Bay Resort and named for the wreck on the east side of the island.
It's the only restaurant to serve a buffet breakfast which includes a full buffet ($27.50pp) continental ($17.50pp) or tea coffee & pastries.
(The Accor card with its 2 for 1 deals cannot be used at breakfast.)
The Maheno also services the upper and lower pools and provides a bar service and limited lunch menu poolside.
Dinner time offers a main meal along with a buffet carte of 5+ salads and fruits with each main (fairly unnecessary as the mains are substantial on their own.)
Special occasions warrant a seafood buffet option (such as Xmas and New Year) and bookings are essential as it can get really busy.
Staff here hail from all over the world and have identifying pins noting their country of origin.
One lunch order was a bit mucked up, but on the whole, all good!
