It was ironic that the first restaurant I went to with my friends from church after I returned from Thailand was a Thai restaurant. For some reason after experiencing the cement floors, the open walls, and the kitchen that you can see from your table, there is something not quite authentic about the little Thai restaurant on Lygon Street. It's not that it was a bad restaurant – far from it. They made a pretty decent red curry, and the servings generous, and let us not forget the great staff, however there was just something missing – maybe it was Patong Beach, and the watermelon juice. However, that beside, this wasn't a bad restaurant, I quite liked it, and since my friend recommended it (he knows all the good restaurants for groups) I do have to give it my recommendation as well.
