Our stunning collection blends the antique and the new, from all corners of India: armoires, coffee tables, dining tables, bookshelves, benches, mirrors, and much more. Our furniture is mostly made of solid sheesham wood (Indian Rosewood) and our jewellery is made of sterling silver and semi-precious stones.

About Us
Maida de Vega Maison is an Australian company based in Sydney, with a first store opened in trendy Surry Hills. While spending eighteen months living in New Delhi, our founders Maida and Nic discovered the fascinating world of Indian furniture and handicrafts ? a crossroad of influences that shaped the subcontinent over millennia: Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Persian mughals, native tribes? All these contribute to making humble homes to palaces the most inspiring, welcoming and distinguished places on Earth.
Now resettled back in her hometown of Sydney, Maida shares these treasures with her fellow Australians. Her passion for interior design, careful attention to detail and hunger for rare finds assures the discerning individual the quality, authenticity and value of the special item.
India is significant to the heart of our company. We make regular trips to where our inspiration originated from, and continue to search for new feature pieces to add to our collection.
We also endeavour to contribute back to the local community in India by pledging 5% of our profits to local initiatives and charitable organizations. ...read more
