City store has the worst customer service ever, and a non refundable $20 ""boot fitting"" fee, only deducted if you buy their boot.



I think this store has to realize that people are intelligent, and know that online may be cheaper, but convenience and GOOD customer service can always sway the game against online retailers.



Rubbish service makes me wonder how they still survive.

Whilst they have a good product selection, the staff are not exactly helpful.



Manager at Mainpeak Osborne Park refused to match their own online price in the shop, recommending that I bought online which included free delivery.



So thats exactly what I did, but from a competitor.



For the sake of $20, they have put me off using them ever again.

Great staff with very helpful advice.

There always seemed to be someone around that had done the same adventures that I was preparing for (trekked the same treks, riden the same mountains, climbed the same cliffs)
