Maiolo Copeland Salon
Maiolo Salon in The Strand, Sydney CBD, represents an outstanding level of creative and technical standards in hairdressing and makeup combined with an exceeding level of service. With the opening of the new Maiolo Salon in Sydney, Australia's best kept hairdressing secret has finally been revealed.
Maiolo Salon's interior design is rich in antique elegance and accented with a modern eclectic edge. Integrating the grandeur of London high society homes with the exclusivity of salons in New York, Robert has successfully created a unique and prestigious establishment.
Hairstylist Robert Maiolo has tended the tresses of select clientele on a strict appointment only basis at a discrete space in Darlinghurst. With no shop front to speak of, Robert's details were passed along by industy insiders and fond word of mouth.
Now Robert brings his distinctive take on hairstyling excellence to The Strand Arcade with the launch of Maiolo Salon - a chic, three-room space in one of Australia's most beloved fashion destinations.
Robert and his team look forward to welcoming existing and new clients to Maiolo Salon at The Strand Arcade, Sydney.
Fancy your hair being washed in blissfully scented suds then following a head massage, you pad out past elegant antiques to a Balinese garden courtyard for a little R and R while your treatment works before your smoothing blow dry. This salon is a well-kept Sydney ...read more

Unpleasant experience. Had a 5pm appointment with Robert. He was quite insistent I come early at 4.45pm. I had to rearrange day and leave work early to get there for 4.45. When I did he was with another client and said he would be 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes, 30 then 45mins. At 5.30 I had to go due to family commitments. Robert got angry and said his time was valuable.... I work as a consultant, my time and everyone's else's time is also valuable. I dont think a 45mins wait is acceptable. Ironically I was once 10 minutes late to an appointment there and they would not accept me because it would not be fair to the next client...
Shame about the behavior and attitude because he does do a nice cut. It is expensive though.
