Mai's Vietnamese Kitchen

t seems to have taken forever to get to Bellbowrie, driving from Brisbane but eventually we got here. Mai's Vietnamese kitchen has a very simple layout. Their main customer target are people who quickly grab takeaway for lunch. Mai's store front has very limited spacing so there are no tables or chairs to sit and eat your meal. Being Vietnamese myself, I believe my critique would be more harsh knowing what to expect from any of the food choices available. Everything gets cooked fresh right before your eyes. So takeaway remains takeaway but not in terms of receiving something the moment you order it. I tried the pork & prawn rice paper salad wrap but noticed a couple of things. Firstly, the fat was missing off the pork slices & the dipping sauce was missing crushed roasted peanuts. I usually eat this when the rice noodles are just cooked and the rice paper freshly dipped in water so it isn't ideal for me to eat the wraps chilled.
