I had booked a cab to go to airport with Newcastle Taxis for 12.30 today inly to receive a call to say they would be 30 minutes late. Rang Maitland Taxis and explained i needed to get to airport quickly or i would miss my flight. Maitland taxis had a driver at my home in under 10 minutes. Thankyou so much everyone at Maitland Taxis for getting me to the airport on time and for your very nice drivers
Excellent service! Prompt arrival on a busy night - very courteous driver.
Unfortunately left wallet in taxi but, on reporting it following morning, everyone at the East Maitland branch was extremely helpful. Wallet was handed in (great relief) and cannot praise staff enough for contacting me to arrange return (though the call centre was a little 'busy')!
Commendable performance - will not hesitate to use and recommend in the future.

Appalling! I lost my phone in the taxi and when I asked when I could get it back two people told me Monday as I had lost it Saturday night. Had to trek to Maitland even though I live and work in newcastle only for the staff who answered the door to tell me they don't handle lost property. We explained that I'm not a local so it's a trek to get there and we'd been told to come in Monday but they didn't seem to care. They said I'd have to come back again the next day to pick it up as the person who handles lost things doesn't work Mondays. I had to come back the Tuesday after work just to pick it up, After I described the case they handed it right to me..how hard was it for the other staff to do that the day before? That was my fuel and time they wasted just because the staff couldn't be bothered to hand me back my phone. appalling customer service..
