Malacca Corner Restaurant
Victoria Square Shopping Centre, Shop 9
Adelaide, SA, 5000
Malacca Corner restaurant located inside the heart of the Central Markets.
A great little Malaysian / Asian Restaurant.
I truly love eating here. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They have pictures up on the walls of the dishes they serve and they are happy to amend the ingredients of the dishes to suit people's dietary requirements. You have the meals as hot or mild as you want.
I have the vegetarian laksa most times and the vegetarian spring rolls. Great if youre on a time restraint for lunch or dinner as the meals is delivered to the table shortly after you order them.
The place always seems to be busy at lunch and dinner times (open for dinner on market nights).
Prices are very reasonable and meal sizes good. They have a drinks fridge besides the counter was cold teas water and soft drinks. This is not a licensed venue and just a heads up they dont have credit card facilities.
A few of my workmates come here every now and then for lunch and I decided to join them last week. Located in the Adelaide Central Markets, this place is small inside but there is seating and tables outside at least. Seems that it gets quite busy for lunch and is a popular place amongst the city workers. Quite a lot to pick from in the menu and all reasonably priced. Service was quick and friendly and the foods came out pretty fast. I ordered the Singapore Noodles but weren't too amazed by it, I feel they put too much curry powder or something so I couldn't finish it all. Next time I will come back and try the Kway Teow as I heard it was good.
