Malacca Straits

My all time favourite home cook food! I love their chick kut teh, Marmite chicken and salted chicken fried rice!

Alert for laksa lovers: Make sure you try Malacca Straits if you venture down Broadway way in Sydney city. Nestled in a comfortable venue in Mountain Street, Malacca Straits (true to its name) offers a mouth watering array of tasty and authentic looking Malaysian dishes. I even saw one table with eye popping chilli crab at $20 a crab! I wanted a taste too! Alas, I had already made my laksa order and it was another very flavoursome, good laksa dish from this establishment. Solid servings, fast service. And, quite seriously, so many dishes look great so it's a treat to be able to sit down and order what takes your fancy that day. Recommended for Broadway shoppers and those who like a little bit of Asian cuisine in their day.

Consistently excellent Asian cuisine at reasonable prices. A very busy place most nights of the week, so book ahead. Highly recommended.
